Well, my last experience with gin was unfortunately a very poor one. Two nights ago, after downing one glass of Sipsmith gin on the rocks I felt completely smashed (feeling completely smashed was not the first time nor will it be the last it will happen), but never before had I ever done the liquor inventory while being drunk AND miscounted. So that suspicious evening, I forgot to spot the half full bottle of Glenfiddich 15 behind the Bunnahabhain, as well as forgetting the half full bottle of Auchentoshan Three Wood that I was keeping hidden on my windowsill. Which meant that when I mentioned the stock numbers to my best friend, I told him I had way less liquor than I actually had. You can imagine the horror when I woke up the next day and realized my mistake.
Lesson learned. From now on, for me no more gin!
