Murphy's Law Series: Finding Murphs part II

Meet Audie Leon Murphy. At a later point in his life he might have been charged with attempted murder after beating up a man in a barroom brawl, but let's not forget to mention he was indeed cleared of those charges. Why did he fight? Old Audie battled in World War II. Action was in his blood. Killing so many Nazi's left scars on his soul and that's why, after retiring from the army, he started a career in the movie business, starring in over 40 war adventure films.

Audie Leon Murphy is one of the Murphy's Law victims, being named after the famous Edward Aloysius Murphy, Jr, the creator of Murphy's Law. Six friendly, but worried moms in Coopertown, Tennessee became impressed by the saying that "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong", and decided to name their first born sons Murph, to jinx the saying. After finding Murphy 'Murph' Dunne here, this is my second Murph. There are only four left to find for me.

It took me a while to track old Audie down. While his worried mother agreed with the other worried moms that Murphy's Law should indeed be jinxed, she decided to break the promise and name her son Audie Leon in the end, because she figured the name Murph Murphy would cause her son to attempt suicide at the age of seven, which therefor would make Murphy's law correct instead of be jinxed. Turns out she was right in the end. Her son did not attempt suicide at the age of seven and went on to become the most decorated hero from World War II.

I wonder how long it takes me to find the other Murphs. There are quite a few Murphs out there and one has to be absolutely sure before one can decide one has found the right Murph.
